In the documentary meals inc. it will take an in depth go through the farming sector that not a lot of people get to see. The film shows how ease foods are less costly and more considerable than ever, and people are not realizing how the meals gets placed on their discs. I always though food came from nice facilities with cute little fences and everyone's completely happy, but in fact most food come from huge factories and assembly lines that mass produce unhealthy choices for people to consume.

When I think about the actions and revenue motive in the multinational companies, I see that they are just giving the consumer what exactly they want, more meals that is cheaper and practical and at a faster speed. In order for the industries to accomplish this they take for the task of actually finding faster methods of creating these kinds of food products and mass producing them regardless if it means hiring illegal immigrants and treating there workers poor, simply to satisfy the purchaser and make more money. The corn industry has become a primary farming crop, within many produced foods today, which is not a hard crop to come by and it is cheaper for the purchasers.

The cost to our health and environment are concealed when purchasing many of the food that come coming from factory captive-raised animals. Although many deals are marked with adorable farm scenes, the reality is several. Animals will be being forced to live in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions. Although factory farming pushes down the prices at the register, the overall price to the environment is much larger.

We as consumers I think may impact just how our food is expanded by just obtaining at regional or organic farms, we are able to also pick our own meals. Doing this would cut back on transport costs and chemical preservatives that a majority of of our food undergoes. Neighborhood food devices often eliminate the middlemen involved in digesting, packaging, shipping, and offering food.
