During school we learned about Erik Erikson. Erikson, coming from 1902 to 1994, extended Sigmund Freud's perspective upon psychosocial creation. Erikson acquired developed 8 stages of psychosocial creation. One of the periods that started my curiosity was identity vs . part confusion. This stage takes place around teen years in the 20s. Id vs . role confusion actually caught my personal attention due to how Erikson described what goes on around this stage, I really can relate it to me personally when I started high school.
One of the most significant stages that Erikson made was personality vs . role confusion. This kind of occurs around teenage years to the 20's. During this level teenagers are still finding out who they are by testing out different tasks. Erikson assumed that although physical development can be a big role to identity vs . role distress, how adolescents feel socially is more of a giant impact. He says that young adults are more worried about meeting colleagues and adults expectations. Likewise its crucial for them to match the interpersonal world. In short, Erikson thought to meet individuals standards also to find out who also they truly are, that they test wherever they fit in by aiming to fit into different groups.
Identity versus role misunderstandings interested me the most because I could associate it to myself when I was in high school. Freshman yr of high institution I traveled to Flushing High School. There I made good friends. Although I had like it there I could not stay as it was beyond the boundary from my house. I then used in another high school graduation called School of American Studies. I remember coming into Academy for the first time and it had been nothing in comparison to my old school. Academy was a really small institution and everyone recognized everyone. I actually entered generally there as a sophomore and I failed to know any person. During lunch break I seated with a group of juniors. I sat with them mainly because they appeared cool. Although they looked cool, they were not good for me....
