Erik Erikson in 1956 investigated and designed Eight levels of expansion. According to Erikson, the socialisation method consists of eight phases – the ‘eight stages of man', his eight stages of person were formulated, not through experimental function, but through wide-ranging experience in psychiatric therapy, including comprehensive experience with kids and teenagers from low- as well as upper- and middle section – social classes. Every stage is regarded by Erikson as a ‘psychosocial crisis', which arises and demands resolution before the following stage can be satisfactorily discussed. These phases are conceived in almost an artilectual sense: satisfactory learning and resolution of each and every crisis is important if the child is to deal with the next and subsequent one particular satisfactory. The eight stages by Erikson

1) Learning basic trust versus Standard Mistrust (Hope)

Erikson is convinced that this third psychosocial crisis occurs during what this individual calls the ‘play age'.
